Some information about me
I was born [6/4/85] and raised in Amsterdam, but was never a city person. From an early age I was inspired by my creative parents to express myself.

Playing with several ways to express my creativity, I enjoy  drawing, writing, several hand crafts and recently sculpting. I love diversity and trying new things.

Education
After studying one year of Illustration at the Utrecht School of the Arts [HKU], I found out that I didn't want to use my developed drawing talent for a career.

The greatest things that inspire me, are visual and spacial installations. Ranging from the abstract art pieces you see in museums, to the design of amusement park rides [Efteling]. I love designing a different reality, where the participant can enter and have an experience of being transported into an entirely different place. It's not enough for me to just stare at a screen, or look at a pretty picture. I want people to delve into it, and be able to touch and experience the work.

Right now I am studying Design for Theatre and Games at the HKU, and am in my third year. I'm not a technical person, but love working together with people who are, and creating interactive experiences this way.

My strong points are visual and concept design and I love working in a team. My school has taught me theatre and game design techniques that I apply in my work.
